Helping Athletes Succeed (H.A.S.)

What?

Our goal is to support athletes who are committed to training and pursuing excellence.

Why?

To celebrate Bill Olivers' 70th birthday - Bill has decided to take on the challenge of raising funds - through sponsorships - not donations for amateur athletes who have demonstrated that they are committed to training and pursuing excellence.

Who?

Athletes competing at the local; regional; provincial; national; and international levels are all eligible to receive financial support from his newly formed community based organization called - Helping Athletes Succeed.

How?

We currently have a short list of elite athletes that are deserving of help. Sponsors may also submit names and details of an athlete who they feel may be a suitable person to receive H.A.S. support.

By doing the leg work in acquiring sponsors, Bill feels that the athletes will have a better chance of success by focusing on his / her training.

The paperwork has started to acquire official non-profit status for Helping Athletes Succeed.

When?

Athletes selected to receive H.A.S funding will be notified in due time and well in advance of their competition date.
